Maine Coons, more Maine Coons and nothing but Maine Coons with heavy beautiful
tuffs. Our personal favorites were "the big coward" Maltezer and
"pirate queen" Blackberry. Maltezer is a huge stud cat in a "wild"
colour pattern, and Blackberry is a very striking high contrast
black and white female.
Besides adult cats we photographed kittens, which proved to be an
impossible undertaking for more then 2 kittens at once: they were always moving
in different directions. Rule of thumb with photographing small
Maine Coon kittens - have at least one animal handler for each kitten.
The only photograph with 5 kittens which worked is representative.
It is called "The Big Escape" - 5 kittens all running in different
directions.
