Marianne presides over a house full of cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs and other
assorted pets. Remarkably all of them are living in harmony together, under the
expert guidance of Marianne: besides breeding cats, she is an international judge,
professional dog trainer and an expert on pet care, who has written many books on
different pet-related subjects.
Seven huge Belgian Shepherd Malinois Dogs are the most well-trained dogs we have
ever seen (and they make any anti-buglar alarms really redundant). We had a unique
opportunity to mix fearsome-looking dogs with the cats in any composition we like.
Or so was the theory. Dogs proved to be the easy part - with a few soft words Marianne
was able to make them take any pose we like and hold it for as long as we like. After
that they will watch with amusement as we were trying to persuade our feline models
to be as accomodating and wrap themselves in appropriate poses around the dogs.
