Today we visited a fellow Russian, Marina Bunina, who breeds Birmans and
Siberians. This is very fitting as Siberian is a uniquely russian breed -
large, powerful, self-reliant and independent - the summary of Russian
character. There is very little known about this breed in UK, but now they
are being introduced and hopefully we will see more of these wonderful felines.
We had the opportunity to photograph both Siberian and Birman cats and
kittens: "forest" photographs with Siberians and Christmas photos with
Birmans. The Birmans were cute as usual - one kitten was photographed in
a dolly chair. She liked it so much, that after the photography was
completed she napped for the rest of the session curled inside the chair.
